Why appear frantic before your enemy? They can then exploit that. Trump may, in the back of his mind, be weighing privately calling them the enemy over opponents.

What some folks don't take into account is that in the business of development, he learned long ago that the government drones consider business people to be adversaries.
He brings decades of experience in dealing with the small minded people of the swamp and has learned to run them in circles until they are exhausted before he plays his hole cards.
I think (hope) he is going to show the world what minor leaguers Adam Schiff and Gerold Nadler really are.
