I think Sessions firing had every thing to do with the midterms being yesterday.

Sessions had too many "conflicts of interest" to be an effective attorney general.

The media will say Trump is trying to "derail" the Mueller investigation.

Both can be true.The Mueller probe(unless there's proof) needs to be "derailed" because it has no evidence of wrongdoing(on Trump's part) but plenty on the part of the Obama and FBI.

No, seriously, this would be a huge mistake by Mueller and the Dems - the simple fact is that if he is indicted for a simple slip of the memory after a long time and a very busy and stressful campaign by professional investigators accustomed to entrapping people on simple “process” crimes, then he simply won’t be convicted. Further, just the act of indicting him will create enormous sympathy for the entire Trump family, and utter contempt for the Dems.

That said, the guy simply doesn’t deserve it, and I sincerely hope that Mueller is shut down soon and there isn’t any indictment. Hey, but if he is then we can start up a GoFundMe account for him...yeah, OK, nevermind.
