It may be closer than wolf thinks.

But I voted in a very blue district, tonight after dark at a school, and the place was packed. First time I ever waited in line before. The other side was more motivated. I could smell it. They despise the President, without really knowing why.

NYT is showing:

HOUSE
161 Dems and 162 Reps
Dems gained 20 and Reps lost 20 currently

SENATE
42 Dems and 50 Reps
Dems lost 2 and Reps gained 2 currently
That would leave 8 undecided

When I went to vote it wasn’t packed, only 4 people in line in front of me, but the workers said it was a big turnout. The four people in line in front of me were all women, and women in the voting booths when I walked in easily outnumbered men 3-1. It was just a 10 minute snapshot of one polling place, and in a dark blue ocean of voters, but I still did my duty and hoped the rural areas of the state would make up for it...

Same exact situation for me in Manhattan...first time waiting on line! And the line went all around the block, and it was raining. Lots of chatter about defeating Trump. And a poll worker went down the line passing out granola bars.
