Sumter had the highest EV turnout. There were concerns that high EV turnout meant cannibalization. The only cannibalization I see are in the Alachua numbers, and that’s because they set up early voting stations in University of Florida for the first time.

High EV begets high election day turnout.

“Democrats are just starting to get out of bed. Let’s hope they’re not motivated enough to vote today.”

Hopefully they’re following the proper voting protocol of republicans voting on Tues. and Dems on Wednesday.

Well, I voted against Crist. I haven’t seen much campaigning by either candidate in this race. For what it’s worth, I drove to downtown St. Pete to drop off my mail-in ballot this afternoon. It was very quiet. The only people I saw going in to vote I would guess as Trump voters. Plus, unlike 2008 when I did physical early voting down there, none of the Republicans’ signs were pulled up. Lots of Desantis and Scott signs. In 2008, within a minute of a McCain sign getting planted there, it was gone.

Here in Washington County PA. I vote at a local Fire station with a dirt lot out back for parking. Place was packed this morning about 11:00. Folks were parking on the street because lot was full. First time I ever saw this.

This seems plausible. Compared to all the wishful thinking both pessimist and optimist. This makes the most sense. You know, many Democrats are voting Republican. Most gardenia-variety Democrats don’t even bother to vote during Mid-terms, and Republicans are energized. Factor in mass Democrat fraud...

You get results that look like this.

If Gillum wins and Nelson loses it will be because blacks and suburban women voted for Gillum and not Nelson. I can’t believe that will happen. Nelson is pretty much an empty suit party line ticket voter kind of guy.

Because of this, I think Republicans are going to do very well tonight. The media and the punditocracy are going to be shocked.
////////////////////////

I have long believed that this election will be a wave election. It will either be deep blue or deep red. People went way out on a limb to elect
Trump. He was politically unproven and we took a big chance. For two years Trump has made his voters feel like biblical prophets for electing him.
Also, many on the fence or opposed to Trump have seen the positive effects and feel reassured. If Trump had fallen on his face all these voters would not be going to the polls and not backing Trump. Therefore I am of the opinion that this will be a deep red crimson election.
Democrat/media have been touting this blue wave for two years and it has never materialized. the resistance movement has been there since day one. They have had two years to make their case. They have convinced no one. The left and the dems know this in their gut, hence the crazy October behavior. They have pushed the panic button and have further destroyed their chances. I would be very surprised if republicans don’t do much better than most of us expect.
