I lived in a pretty red state for a while where there was this crazy state legislator who kept trying to defeat Republicans who weren’t pure enough for him. In an interview, he said he would rather have 35 “real” conservatives in the state legislature (meaning the Dems would have a super-majority) than be in the majority with impure Republicans.
It’s seriously some sort of sick political masturbation or something. I don’t get it.

This one is tough to call. Martha is doing fairly well in the Phoenix metro area (Maricopa County), and it looks like there’s a lot of votes yet to be reported from rural areas where she’s winning big. Pima county (Tucson area) is a wild card, where Sinema is somehow leading by over 30K votes, but McSally is currently a congresswoman from Tucson, so she may be able to trim that lead down in Pima as more votes are reported.
He’s a phony asshole. VP Pence has the best description of this slime, “you an always count on Joe when it doesn’t matter”.

She said she wants a do-over basically. Claiming the win wasn’t over 50%. Silly.

Most of them were losing, including the gas tax repeal. The only one I recall being ahead was keeping first responders on duty during lunch hour.

The minimum number of seats we will have in the Senate is 53...that is already a gain of 2. NV, AZ, and MT going our way would be a gain of 5.
And Woodall wins w/ 50.8% vs 49.2% for Bordeaux. 99% reporting.
I am disappointed in that one. I have to believe Mark Sanford has a hand in that. Also, Katie was recovering from some serious injuries and did not have an easy time campaigning. These are all seats in districts we can reacquire next election.
Uncounted votes in Milwaukee—doesn’t sound promising. Hopefully some rural counties are holding back their results so the Dems don’t know exactly how many votes they need.
NV and AZ are holds, not gains.
Yep, I went at it with a guy in the middle of Virginia a couple of years ago. The Republican there wasn’t pure enough for him, so he sat out the governor election, and the Dem won...now Virginia is BRIGHT RED. NO!!! Not even close...all he accomplished was adding to the mandate of the Democrats in that state - Democrats who immediately opened up voting to felons and others.
...and this guy is otherwise a good FReeper...very sad.
