The only thing that will help us is that Romney probably still harbors delusions of running for President again, and he would have to win the nomination in Trump’s party. Let’s hope he stays deluded.

Calm down and take your pills. Reagan had a bigger Dem majority to deal with and accomplished plenty.

Well...Reagan granted amnesty and never did a thing about border security.

The loss of the House falls squarely on Ryan and the RINOs. I would not be surprised if many of them are happy tonight with losing the House as a way to give the finger to Trump.

Now expect the Dems to conduct endless investigations to try and hurt Trump. Sessions could have helped by being aggressive with SpyGate but he napped. Get rid of him.

Forget about the wall (like Ryan was going to fund it anyway) and expect more illegals to cross our border.

I thought the GOP had a big time ground game with lots of cash?

Regardless, aside from Trump, the GOP needs to do a better job at messaging.

I’d actually love it if they are dumb enough to impeach.

I don’t think that’s the case. It’s just that there’s SO much going on tonight. Don’t sweat it.

Unless a race is REEEEEEALY close, I don’t think absentee or overseas military votes are going to make a huge difference.

Looks like Watkins is gonna win Ks-02, but Yoder lost KS-03. That’s what Yoder gets for pushing amnesty.

Not judging but I would’ve voted D. He will do more harm than good.

“It’s scary how well Beto did in Texas.”

In the first week of the campaign, ‘Cruz the lame’ referred to Beto as “a goofy Hollywood liberal”, instead of the ‘Hollywood Socialist Marxist” that he is. Its a Miracle he won at all.

We’re going to see that play out on the national stage, yes. Trump is an outsider who is a threat to the swamp. They want him gone.

And between now and 2020 the Rats are going to hurt themselves more and more. They’re going to continue to show their true, ugly colors.

Small victories?!? If NV and AZ hold this is as good as you could have hoped for. Not to mention the deadwood we got rid of in the house and Senate. Coulter was on Breitbart and had exactly the right take on this. It’s basically a red wave as far as the Senate is concerned. IF those two states hold.
/

to me considering how important the courts have become the senate getting more conserative is a great thing, and cutting some of the RINOs out is a good thing.

Was Ryan going to deliver anything better than Pelosi the next two years? hmmmm doubt it.

Not some uniform batch of pajama boys.

Empty nesters need to hear us parents of millenials. As a generation, they're way more conservative than us baby boomers were.

We’ve lost 20 so far. Someone said betting sites have us pegged for 216 seats. If we are going to lose the House, a slim margin is best :-) ... I think it’s going to be more than just 3, but I’ve thought lots of things that were wrong :-)

Impeached for what?

If Trump was historically unpopular they might get away with it, but he’s too popular to be impeached for nothing. And they’ve got nothing.

Brat’s race in the Va CD 7 has a bunch of absentees not counted and the race is 49.07 R vs 49.6 D. That race won’t be decided tonight and probably there will be a recount.

The absentees are usually counted in many states later and the provisionals as well once they are verified.

BTW, the United States Senate Committee on Appropriations have a lot more power than their house counterparts because they operate on the State level and not on a district level.

The House is a huge loss, however, not the end of the world (Especially in control of Repubs).

I think Trump knew the House was in trouble and did little specific campaigning for them. He spent most of his time concentrating on the Senate and it looks like it paid huge dividends.
