Georgia,s first gun ban was thrown out by the STATE Supreme Court because it violated the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the USA. Here is the State Court’s ruling in 1846.
Nunn v. State
, 1 Ga. (1 Kel.) 243, at 251 (1846).
“’The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.’ The right of the whole people,
old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every
description, and not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or
broken in upon, in the smallest degree; and all this for the important end to be attained: the rearing
up and qualifying a well-regulated militia, so vitally necessary to the security of a free State.”
Say it loud, Ms. Abrams, and keep saying it.

For Christ’s sake, I don’t know what everybody’s worried about. I’m not from Georgia, but I do know that Georgia has a GOP-controlled legislature. In other words, none of this malarkey Abrams is spouting will come to pass. If Democrats took the Georgia legislature, THEN we’d have something to be concerned about.
