My immediate response to that is that the Obama "recovery" was all increased government spending, while the Trump economy has come from better results in the private sector. Don't know if that is technically true, but liberals are uncomfortable with number thingies anyway, and nobody has ever challenged it.

Even for me, when I really struggle with taking the account of creation in Genesis literally.
However, I have NO struggle with the opening verses of John’s gospel:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and life was the light of men.”

One need only pick up the morning paper or turn on the TV to see that National Socialism didn't die in the bunker with Hitler and International Socialism didn't give up the ghost after Glasnost. They are alive and well and now calling their own enemies "Nazis".
