Yeah concertina wire is devilishly clever. Nasty stuff. Lost more BDU’s to that stuff.

Two 1st Cav Slicks touched tails about 100 feet from me

and I ran right into a mess of that wire.

Took 3 guys to get me outta that razor wire.

Thought the two Slick jocks were gonna duke it out. Those

blades pieces went everywhere.Made just like a honey comb.

Fun times/S

Perhaps they can just leave it in place?

I believe that the President was not earlier informed or aware of the effectiveness of closing the border with the use of concertina wire. He is apparently aware of it now, and I hope our forces still time to get it installed wherever it needs to be to stop these invasions.

“And believe me, THAT STUFF WORKS!”

The VC & NVA used to strip down to a loincloth. Then they’d run up to the concertina carrying a long bamboo pole. They’d lie on their backs with the pole on their chests running 6 feet or so above their heads with the tip touching the ground.

They would slide the tip under the concertina, then crawl on their backs, pushing the concertina up enough to slither under it. No clothing to catch on the sharp points. This was not too difficult to do with plain barbed wire concertina. However, the “German Tape” (razor wire) was much more difficult.
