I can't speak to that as I know neither of them personally, however, I will agree they have both chosen a horrible path.

I tend to hate the sin, more than I hate the sinner. We are all sinners in one way or another at least in some point in our lifetime. Even if it is to just over indulge.

I am not really a church goer, but I have a deep faith in God. He is a kind God, who understands more than I, and therefore I leave all judgement as his alone. I am left with assessing what I think is best. I do not think same sex unions are a good idea, especially when children are introduced. A child needs strong examples of both sexes for their personal growth process.
