The Seminole tribe is the only Indian nation that never surrendered.
Every Seminole native American I have met has told me in the first 60 seconds of meeting that they are a member of the only tribe in the USA which never signed a peace treaty with the USA government. They are VERY PROUD of that.
This makes his claims to be part Seminole more legit, IMHO.
