They should send all the JAG officers the can find and make them Administrative Judges to help with the claims. If they are denied load them up on a plane and when it’s full fly them home (after they have been photographed and fingerprinted)
As long as they’re in mexico they’re basically mexicos problem......keeping them out of the USA is ours. If they get just one foot in the US they will have achieved their goal no matter how or what happens once they’re here....they’ve hit the ‘safe zone’.
At taxpayer expense? Screw that. Turn them around and let them walk back to wherever they came from.
Maybe Mexico will pay for their bus tickets.
