‘refused to give up her seat in the colored section of an Alabama bus to a white passenger’
What poor writing and grasp of the basics. Why would a white passenger attempt to sit in the back of the bus? The dispute was about the front section.
The cool kids sat in the back of my school bus.
I, sadly, was not one of them.
The ‘white section’ was filled, and the bus driver wanted Rosa Parks to give up her seat in the ‘black section’ so the white passenger could sit. She refused.
