The Fox6 news reporter later admitted she was 'shaking' and 'embarrassed' by the whole ordeal
AN AMERICAN female news reporter was “sexually assaulted” on live TV and her colleagues reacted by bursting into laughter.
Fox6 reporter Ashley Sears was reporting on the excited crowds in a bar during a baseball game when an unknown woman came into the frame. She wrapped her arms around Sears' neck and then gave her an expected kiss on the cheek. The woman then smiled and left.
The “assault” happened at a bar called Kelly’s Bleachers during the Milwaukee Brewers’ Major League Baseball game in Wisconsin.

She’s broadcasting from a bar. Lots of drunk people. This kind of behavior is fairly common. It’s not even established the kiss was even sexual. May just be an excited fan celebrating a nice win by their team.

Any unwanted physical contact is assault, using your mouth can make it a sexual assault.
Hell if it was a guy its automatically assumed to be sexaul assault. Hell,just having the wrong guy looking at them they will call 911.
In any case i’d consider it that if a stranger of either gender did that to me. you have no idea where that mouth has been and you don’t know them.

What if the anchor was a male and a homosexual came up and planted one on him? If the anchor responds with a punch to the face, he probably gets charged with assault. There's the double standard.
I would say any time someone unknown walks up, puts you in a head lock and kisses you without permission, it’s assault.
