ALL modern manufacturing incorporates QA at the factory. I guess if someone had absolutely no knowledge at all of production they could say otherwise.

That does not preclude factory QC, mrsmith, it adds a second layer of QC that SuperMicro does on their product that THEY do before shipping these special grade server motherboards. You can blither all you want, but a company that sells high-end components and assures that quality with its reputation does such things as doubly checking quality and not relying on the manufacturer’s word. Apple has its own employees doing its QC, not the assembler’s employees, just as they have their own employees monitor the assembly and working conditions at every step of the supply chain.
