The Mexican government has sent 500 extra federal police to its border with Guatemala in anticipation of their arrival, say documents obtained by NBC News
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is tracking the caravan as the Hondurans make their way north toward the U.S. border. Meanwhile, the State Department is trying to stave off that possibility by compelling the Mexican government to stop them at its border with Guatemala.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to Mexico to meet with his counterparts on Friday, and plans to stop the caravan will be a "prominent" topic of discussion, a senior State Department official told reporters on Wednesday.
"I am certain that there will be conversations in Mexico about how we can work together on this issue," the official said about the caravan. "We are certainly looking for concrete results and for solutions that work for both countries."

I still find it really odd that they aren’t carrying much stuff with them. Perhaps once they are allowed into the US as “refugees” they will be able to travel freely between Honduras and their new homes in the US - and/or can ship all of their stuff up later.
I think it was some European country that gave “refugees” vacation money to go back to their home countries to visit!
I’ll be calling my representatives office tomorrow for sure. He’s got the ear of our Pres. so worth the effort.
21twelve I don’t understand why you would be concerned about what they have or not? or if they have the means to return to their country. We don’t want them to get here with or without these things.
Probably as recorded by the same leftwing psychologist lobby group that Dr. Ford was involved with- the Physicians for Human Rights... and that ilk.
Trump wanted to wait until the NAFTA
negotiations, would be my guess. There
is probably something in those
negotiations regarding immigration.
The art of the deal.
I figure they’re as sick as the middle easterners....they’re culture is violent as well so of course they’ll have mental issues pretty much guaranteed. Rather like so many in the black community who come out of violence in their homes and end up in our prison system.
New Nike’s, Adidas, Croc’s and all seem to be clothed really well and well fed.
Hmmmm.
Good idea. I’, going to do the same.
It seems to me that their lack of stuff indicates that they are being supported by others in a coordinated effort - an invasion.
As you have mentioned the various Catholic churches, etc. But even a bunch of relief organizations would need some lead time in getting ready for this I would think The cartels is an interesting possibility. Or perhaps Soros? The promise of a bunch of cash at the end of the journey, and the promise of support along the way means you don’t have to worry about it yourself.
Heh - they’re getting a free ride to a free ride.
Here, they even have a THEME SONG:

Now, we’re supposed to believe they are leaving Honduras because of the violence. In the article he admits he left the most defenseless of his family BEHIND in the most violent place, while he heads for safety... and I as a woman, am supposed to sympathize with that?
Maybe their problem isn’t that they do not have easy access to US welfare but that the law-abiding types in their country have no 2nd amendment.
Honduras is in such crisis that their do-gooders took the time off from their huge “social justice”-generated problems to ban SPANKING.
They plan to reach Mexico’s southernmost state of Chiapas, whose governor Manuel Velasco said he would ‘welcome’ migrants despite a federal government warning that undocumented migrants would be stopped at the border.
The migrants’ dream is to get asylum in the United States, work, and send help/cash to relatives who stayed behind.
I wouldn’t hire a single one here legally or not since they’re planning on sending US dollars out of this country.....
From the interwebs:
“Almost $25 billion flowed last year [into Mexico] from the pockets of Mexicans living overseas, almost all of it from the U.S. That’s even higher than what Mexico earns from its oil exports.”
How much of that was under the table and not taxed?
How much of that was sent by “poor” people getting US taxpayer benefits?
TIME TO OPEN THE BOOKS OF the Congressional Hispanic Caucu—What do they know about this?
Is collusion and conspiracy involved? Is the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (C/H/C) colluding to increase their political clout, to jet-stream US foreign aid to their Third World masters. (US tax dollars are then laundered, then funnelled back as campaign donations to amnesty-worshippers’ campaign coffers).
The close-mouthed Congressional Hispanic Caucus has been much too secretive about its role in financing, and, possibly using Congressional earmarks to finance the invasion (preparatory to overthrowing the US govt).
SUBPOENA CELL PHONE RECORDS, COMPUTER DISKS, HARD DRIVES, WIRE-TRANSFERS
to determine whether the Hispanic Caucus colluded w/ foreign govts to aid and abet the overthrow of the US govt.
Taxpayers demand to know the scope and dimension of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus using government offices for illegal purposes.
Taxpayers demand to know if members of the Hispanic Caucus belong to and/or finance violent latino groups advocating the overthrow of the US govt.
Taxpayers demand documents held by the Hispanic Caucus be scrutinized for possible falsification.
