That’s tough coming from CNN.
There's a big field of 2020 candidates for the Dems, which will be another disaster unless the field gets winnowed out ahead of time. CNN will probably do their part to cull the weak ones out of the herd well in advance so people don't notice the lack of party unity.
CNN may be (is) a Democratic party support organization, but that doesn’t mean that this particular section of CNN supports that particular candidate.
There are probably a dozen or so candidate support groups in CNN. The first thing you need to do is destroy the opposition on your own side. Then you can continue to attack the other side.
