Another fine institution where it's like the inmates running the prison, while the guards are cowed into behaving like sheep. Except that is the students hold power over the teachers, and the teachers suffer in their careers as any accusation from the kids will wreck their lives!
The *kids* are just as culpable as the adults.
They didn’t have to go along with it.
High school students old enough to know better but too young to care. Also, they have not been penalized for much in high school life.

A most pathetic presentation in my view.
The band teacher should be gone as well as any teachers or administration who knew this was planned. The band should be shut down for at least a year.
They looked like a mob, not a marching band but I’m pretty sure that was the point of their protest.
I was a member of the marching band in HS in So CA and our band was very competitive. That was 60 years ago and things have changed but seeing that made me realize just how much things have changed for the worse.
I’m afraid that’s what they’ve become now. I went to a couple of marching competitions recently and some bands had no prob with ‘propaganda shows’.
Almost impossible to see the meat of the "protest" skit, but who cares. What a dull flop.
Used as willing or unwilling pawns by radical school administrators/instructors, these musicians should wake up and stick to John Philip Sousa......or none of them will ever make the big-league Super Bowl half time gig.
