If Christine Ford's lawyer needs a lawyer, the fat lady's singing
American Thinker ^ | October 6, 2018 | Ed Timperlake

America now knows that Dr. Ford had her high school friend, the retired FBI-DOJ special agent Monica McLean, who is also a lawyer, involved with her and present for her Senate testimony. Thanks to Wall Street Journal reporting, we now find out that lawyer McLean was so integral to the conspiracy that she tried to lean on a key witness to "clarify her statements."

This has backfired spectacularly and did absolutely no good for Dr. Ford, since the denial of any knowledge about the alleged event from the witness remained 100% absolute.

[exerpt]

That bonehead move of Dr. Ford's lawyer McLean showed pure desperation and panic to engage in potential witness-tampering. That event has now forced Special Agent Monica McLean to retain a personal lawyer for the coming investigation of her.

A target's lawyer needing a lawyer was the "gold standard" of an unofficial measure of investigative achievement that we strove for in our Rules Committee's "impeachment inquiry." That congressional investigation was focused on the illegal PRC money flowing into the Clinton administration during 1996, the "Year of the Rat."

It was our unofficial but powerful "tell," direct and simple: if your target's lawyer needs a lawyer, they are all really in big trouble.

[exerpt]

The special agents in the field are still a national treasure. The top leadership ranks in the Obama administration are the ones who lost their moral compass, along now with those working with Dr. Ford.

It hasn't been observed yet, but an investigative lead into the influence of Special Agent McLean may be seen as the reason for a perplexing evolution of "when" it occurred. Dr. Ford finally fixed the timeline to the summer of '82. This may be additional evidence of a well thought out conspiracy and can add to McLean's lawyer's billing.

Good to see a few journalists digging into Monica McLean who likely orchestrated much of this. McLean as an FBI lawyer / media contact had all the tools to help Ford erase her background, set up a friendly polygraph with FBI pal, Contact Activist lawyers, etc. The near perfect setup failed when she couldn’t intimidate Keyser to lie,& Fords ex boyfriend came forward. Media tried to ignore him but damage was done. I believe Dems got word to retreat from Ford / McLean and tried to smear Kavanaugh as a drunk albeit 35 years ago. Avenatti didn’t help with his preposterous gang rape witness. All in All one of the dirtiest tricks in US politics needs an investigation....Trump standing tough was Yuge.....

Great graphic — I’m stealin’ it!

Witness-tampering to suborn perjury, well, that’s okay, because of the seriousness of the multiple false accusations.

Poorly written...for starters Monica McClean isn’t Ford’s lawyer, she’s her friend.

You are no doubt correct. It was obvious from the beginning that this was a complete fraud- a Russian dossier.

How many noticed that she did not swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. She merely kind of nodded her head. Never said “yes.”

I don’t know if it makes any difference legally but though it odd.

We will have to fight tooth and nail to turn this society around. This could have been a turning point in American politics

Yes, investigate also:
McLean contacting Keyser directly, not Keyser’s attorney, when it was public knowledge Keyser was represented by counsel.
Does McLean still have a security clearance?
Was McLean assisted by current FBI in the scrubbing of Ford’s past?

And there’s the other snake, David Laufman.

Same questions about his security clearance, connections, etc.

The Republicans need to grind these bastards down, keep them on the run and hit them from every direction.

Even the lukewarm have to like such winning.

Poorly written

I must agree. Author makes some good points, but the article is quite difficult to read.

I agree. Go for the dem agents orchestrating the hoax. Include Ford if she can be incontrovertably included as complicit, otherwise pursue “her” lawyers for all of their transgressions - both legal and (hah) ethical.

The Death of Conspiracy

Revenge is a beautiful thing,
The fat lady is singing her song.
Heads of conspiracy will roll,
it shouldn't be very long.

Feinstein started the roll,
Ford was her pair of dice.
Schumer was in on the plan,
the end won't be very nice.

Call in the hounds of hell,
Give them the scent of breath,
of the words spoken that knell,
the sight of their political death.

Not just friend but best friend. Didn't they even share a house? It's not a leap to assume McClean was also Ford's advisor in a non-official capacity even though McClean spent 25 years in the FBI as an official government attorney. Any advice given would have been off the record but they most definitely colluded in a conspiracy to forward this sex assault narrative because McClean intimidated a witness.

Common sense tells us this all true. The trick now is to prove it lawfully.

I am a trained vocalist with a superior ear: I do not hear the Fat Lady.

We have so many manifest crimes, with so many investigations. Who is in jail?

Paul Manafort.

There are far greater threats to our rule of law walking around DC, with actual power. Forget about Ford, and go after the Coup Cabal - who are largely behind this too, but whose sedition against a sitting president requires justice!

Not just friend but best friend.

Supposition and a meaningless distinction.

Before Monica McLean emerged, Leyland Keyser was labeled Ford's best friend.

Neither woman ever represented Ford in court.

American Thinker has a very low bar to entry, as this article demonstrates...ymmv
