Either Sen. Collins VOTES NO on Kavanaugh OR we fund her future opponent
Maine People's Alliance and Mainers for Accountable Leadership are joining dying father, Ady Barkan, to beg Senator Collins to vote "no" on Trump's Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
In the next 2 weeks, right after Labor Day - the Senate will hold a confirmation vote that will define the Supreme Court's ideology for decades. It will be one of the most pivotal votes of Susan Collin's career.
"We, the People of Maine are joining Ady Barkan and thousands of others to demand that Senator Collins votes "no" on Trump's Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh" - Marie Follayttar, Co-Director of MFAL said, “We're excited to once again join with Ady to promote and amplify Maine voices."
There are two scenarios:
Senator Collins votes NO on Kavanaugh and you will not be charged, and no money will go to fund her future opponent.
Senator Collins votes YES on Kavanaugh and your pledge will go to her opponent's campaign, once that opponent has been identified.
The people of Maine want to be clear with you, Senator Collins:
The pending nomination of Brett Kavanaugh for Supreme Court Justice is a threat to everyday Mainers like us. Kavanaugh is committed to ending healthcare for people with pre-existing conditions. He is committed to overturning Roe v. Wade. Kavanaugh cannot be nominated - he would mean bankruptcy and danger for millions of families in Maine and America.
The people of Maine are asking you to be a hero, Senator Collins.
Your swing vote could decide whether a rubber stamp for Trump’s anti-healthcare, anti-woman, anti-labor agenda gets confirmed to the Supreme Court–costing millions of Americans their healthcare, their right to choose, and their lives.
If you fail to stand up for the people of Maine and for Americans across the country, every dollar donated to this campaign will go to your eventual Democratic opponent in 2020. We will get you out of office.

I believe these sources of fund raising need to be investigated.
I don’t think she has anything to worry about. She handily won last time. And 4 million dollars is not going to change that in a world where TV money just doesn’t make as much difference as it used to.
This is why republicans are starting to win. People are getting their news from somewhere besides TV, magazines and newspapers. The old world propaganda is over. The money does not matter as much any more. That is why Trump won while being outspent 4 to 1. People can find out all the information they want through other sources. A 30 ad is not persuasive any more.
This will just disappear like Jill Stein’s magic recount money.
A progressive and its money are soon parted.
However that being said these anonymous “donation” sources are becoming too big not to regulate, investigate and perhaps even confiscate.
I almost refuse to believe that there’s enough natural outrage to raise $4,000,000 inside of 36 hours from grass roots sources. Outrage? Yes. Outrage that will vote? Yes. Outrage that will give a dime? Mmmm, maybe, possibly. Outrage that will protest? Well, if you pay them.
The level of donations flowing to crowd funding sites for a used Ford and whoever runs in Maine is so questionable.
Just the headlines and news coverage of “Dr. Ford Has Raised $1,00,000” is worth $1,000,000 in media coverage while giving credence and possibility of being genuine.
However I will point back to Jill Stein, they gave their money, she spent a little... kept the rest. As the old joke here goes about DU “You’re just $10 away!’”
Except now big money is doing it in small amounts and quite anonymously.
So if a Republican challenged her in the primary, could THEY get some of this money?

$4 million in this DNC front organization is probably bupkis, but I’d be surprised if they don’t hit their target in no time flat. And millions will flow in from Hollywood, Steyer, Soros, and the rest of the criminal cadre. Blow up some limos.

Absolutely! This is a b.s. way for people like Soros to funnel money to candidates and avoid campaign finance limitations.
The left doesn't care about the intent of any law, they're just interested in finding ways to get around the letter of those laws that restrict them from pushing the world in the direction they want to push it.
I’m not really clear. Did they hope to buy her or rent her? Whoever can be fined to that communication needs to be died for bribery, obstruction of justice and conspiracy. And Soros needs to be penalized until penniless. However, the hope for our country is the message of the founders, mercy and grace found with faith in the usward redemptive work of Christ.
Hence he effort to shut down patriots on social media, the defunding of conservative websites, and the choking off of search results.
The gods of tech need their balls handed to them via federal action.
(But do not forget this woman’s committee vote gave us Obamacare. Too often she is a swing vote for the Democrats. Get rid of her as a “republican”)
Money is needed for campaigns but there is a limit
They’ll have lots of lobster dinners and high end xhampagne with this. Pay all the workers high dollar.
It only helps get so many votes.
