There's nothing more dangerous to me, especially in this climate, than a talented, caring doctor. That's dangerous. Someone who cures disease, saves people from the brink of death, allows families to remain whole, and who does it while making allowances for poor families who may not be able to pay for the services they receive. I think there's nothing more dangerous now than a good doctor.

The October 19 episode is the Halloween show which is usually pretty good.
I tuned in to the series opener and, if it’s the one you saw, you were being charitable. I had never watched the show before
but the start of this episode was beyond bad with inappropriate canned laughter, loud and noisy with terrible writing. I felt the early signs of of brain rot before I changed channels.
The series opener was better than the 2nd episode, the one to which I referred. The show is all over the place in syndication. Try watching the first 6 seasons. I’m pretty sure you will like it.
Many, if not all, of the first few seasons were filmed before a live audience (a la Cheers). Not sure if that holds for the new season 7.
Must drive them nuts that it a loving family, with different opinions among them, who love and support one another despite their differences.

Um... it's on Fox. ABC cancelled it. And compare these ratings to those of the execrable Murphy Brown....
Frankly I never watched this show when it was on ABC. I liked his previous show somewhat but was never a regular viewer.
Tim Allen is okay but I think people are reading too much into his show.
Fox picked up! They make fun of the network change in this seasons episode one. Your kids should watch every episode; very instructional and funny.
Lefties hate it. That's why I watch it.
The big plus is the masculine man - can't get that now days and that's what makes life interesting, lol.

I did not like that one of the kids wanted to take over the grandfathers pot business. Pot has wrecked enough lives so no need to promote it as something good. Most users are not using it for medicinal purposes plus I do not like the constant whining of the liberal (I know - redundant).
Kyle and Mandy could be more funny instead of forced funny. Pants that obviously do not fit... Cubicle wall that falls down multiple times... I rather see a pie in the face.

Yes, I agree. There was a wonderful ditzy-ness with the original which gave her a lot of personality. I just don't see that in the replacement.
