“The Supplemental Background Investigation confirms what the Senate Judiciary Committee concluded after its investigation: there is no corroboration of the allegations made by Dr. Ford or Ms. Ramirez,” the Judiciary Committee Republicans wrote.

It is over, so vote already!
Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins, considered a key potential swing vote on Kavanaugh, said Thursday that the bureaus supplemental background probe appears to be a very thorough investigation.
..snip..
Sen. Flake, who originally requested the FBI re-open its investigation into the sexual assault claims leveled against Kavanaugh by Christine Blasey Ford, agreed with Collins’ assessment.
No new corroborative information came out of it, Flake said. Thus far, weve seen no new credible corroboration no new corroboration at all.

Hey, Flake, got any old corroboration?
So, her life long best friend denies the allegations you made and included them in and then you turn around and claim THEY are the ones with health issues. That makes perfect sense to me./s
From “Amos & Andy”:
I not only denies the allegations, I denies the alligator!
So what else could Collins and Flake possibly do but vote to confirm? I can’t conceive of any logical explanation to justify voting otherwise. Of course, not much Flake and Collins do is logical. Murkowski worries me, i confess.
Well, that report — if that’s an investigation, it’s a bull—— investigation,” Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., told a man as he walked through the Capitol complex on Thursday. “The reality is, that was not a full and thorough investigation.”

Well, Senator, theres a pile of poop in one of NJs Senate seats.
In other words, all the witnesses confirmed what we know already.
But according to the Rats, unless Kavanaugh is anal probed ten times from
Sunday, we still dont know if he measures up,
Even then, they still wouldnt vote for him. Because no matter what the FBI did, it would never be enough. Of course.
read it all - not behind a paywall:
5 Oct: WSJ: Friend of Dr. Ford Felt Pressure to Revisit Statement
At issue is statement to committee that she knew nothing about alleged sexual assault by Brett Kavanaugh
By Natalie Andrews, Rebecca Ballhaus and Sadie Gurman; Alexandra Berzon contributed to this article
A friend of Christine Blasey Ford told FBI investigators that she felt pressured by Dr. Fords allies to revisit her initial statement that she knew nothing about an alleged sexual assault by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh, which she later updated to say that she believed but couldnt corroborate Dr. Fords account, according to people familiar with the matter.
Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Fords, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.
The statement to the FBI offers a glimpse into how Dr. Fords allies were working behind the scenes to lobby old classmates to bolster their versions of the alleged incident, as were Judge Kavanaughs...

They need to refer Fords testimony over to justice for possible perjury! After the Kavanaugh vote of coarse..
LOL... sounds like a line from Calhoun the Lawyer.
If Flake and Collins vote yes, and Murkowski votes no, then Pence breaks the tie and kavanaugh is confirmed
Sure thing, you lying ass b*tch.
Can't you just picture Collins with question marks still swirling around her head?
Who knows how that dope is going to vote?
Thanks for that supplemental link!

Madness. Still too many ifs, ands, or buts in the pie for me.
We need a stronger majority in the Senate.
