Sen. Bob Corker (R., Tenn.) said it was “very possible” that senators would be able to start reviewing the FBI findings later Wednesday.
As he left a closed-doors Senate GOP lunch, Mr. Corker said he expected the FBI would provide its account of interviews and that senators would be able to review them in a secure setting.
Senate GOP leaders were discussing a possible Friday procedural vote, he said

So, they had time to do these interviews....wonder why it has taken Mueller so long if they could do this one in 3 days.
Friday cloture vote!! That was supposed to be today to make a Saturday vote up or down for Kavanaugh.
Not a good sign. Maybe more arm twisting is needed for the Reluctant Ladies.

I thought Mitch said the motion would be made today, but he didn't reveal when. Perhaps to coincide with Trump's #MAGA text :)
It is hard to believe that there are two US Senators (Collins and Murkowski) who would vote based on how the feel about Trump’s verbal style - but then, if you knew all 100 Senators personally, it would probably be hard to believe that 85-90 of them are not selling used cars.
He might be waiting for the FBI report to submit the cloture motion.
Otherwise, you know, the media will attack him for calling for a vote before the FBI report comes in.
But he NEEDS to submit cloture motion today in order to have a Friday cloture vote.

Question for you: Wouldn’t a successful cloture vote on Friday more or less tell us that it’s a GO for Kavanaugh on Saturday?

Creepy Porn Lawyer said it’s absolutely unacceptable that the FBI investigation can be completed without interviewing his gang rape client and her collaborating witnesses who’ll say they were at these parties and saw Kavenaugh laughing hysterically while spiking punch with grain alcohol and qualudes. Creepy Porn lawyer said the American people will not accept the results of the investigation and there will be hell to play in the mid-terms!

There needs to be 1 intervening day between a cloture motion being submitted and a cloture vote.
Submit motion today, can vote on Friday.
Fineswine is already requesting the report be sealed.
The sisters and Flake will use it as cover to vote “no”. Mitch already knew he had 3 “no” votes which is why Graham is pushing to have Kavanaugh renominated in the next congress. Mitch knows it will fail, but wants to get a record of the “no” votes for the midterms.
He should be happy and all for this then.
