Flake’s farewell swan song may just have tanked Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation
The National Sentinel ^ | 9/29/18 | USA Features

Torpedo: Last year retiring Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Arizona, published a book, “Conscience of a Conservative: A Rejection of Destructive Politics and a Return to Principle,” in which he purported to support POTUS Donald Trump because he wanted him to succeed.

Within months, however, there was Flake the “conservative,” writing in far-Left Politico that the GOP was “in denial about Donald Trump,” a piece which disparaged the president and left the impression with readers, in no uncertain terms, that the Arizona Republican (like his counterpart the late Sen. John McCain) would not be counted among POTUS’ allies in the Senate.

“We created him, and now we’re rationalizing him. When will it stop?” he wrote.

I sincerely hope that some day, in some way, Flake and his family are put through the same torture as Kavanaugh and his family.

No way Flake held this up just for comity.

He is in on it with the Dems they have a plan to torpedo this.

My guess is they’ll flip Mark Judge or someone will accuse Kavanaugh of molesting a girl on his basketball team.

Flake said “they might” find something on Kavanaugh. He knows they will.

Flakey the Flake should be monitored to see where he goes after he leaves the Senate (as a total disgrace).

Is there a company with such low moral standards, who would hire him?

I keep seeing tweets from the Dims that Kavanaugh lies before the committee. What exactly are they alleging that he lied about? Just simply that he refuted Ford’s claims? I’m so bloody exhausted from this whole fraudulent charade I don’t have the energy to search for the details.

Flake is such a hypocrite. Everything he accuse Trump of being, he’s guilty of it himself

The sad thing is how easy it is to kill your own troops with friendly fire. At least in the military there are consequences. Here we just get up the next day, business as usual. Not even an angry tweet from POTUS.

Perhaps the outgoing senator from Arizona can do something his late colleague couldn't and wouldn't do: Put aside his personal animus for the president and do what's right for the country.
And the sooner, the better.

Fat chance!

This deserves it own thread.

I did not watch her but had serious questions of my own about any expertise she had regarding memory and trauma. I knew her CV did not mention those fields. Which are very specialized and certainly not the purview of a “educational psychologist” and a person doing data analysis and working with statistics. The jargon she used (I did read some of the testimony) raised red flags because it was just so unprofessionally presented.

I wish I could present this to every senator on the judiciary committee:

You prove to me without a doubt were Brett Kavanaugh lied and I will prove to you beyond a doubt where CBF lied.

If Flake is a “conservative,” then I’m a Martian.

I hope actual conservatives continue to see through Cultural Marxists and anti-American globalists, even when they have R’s after their names. Too many were fooled for too long by these types, but a lot of trampled-on Americans are finally waking up now.

He can forget about running for ANY office where he must be voted in. I will expend all of my financial resources to insure he is never elected to anything again ... including dog catcher.

It’s funny Sen. Hirono tells men to “just shut up”

Bet she never told Daniel Inouye to "just shut up".

The way Flake’s nose is sliding off his face indicates that his father must have been a southpaw and had a hell of a left hook.
