Grassley ignored request for delay on senate floor, which the committee can’t force anyway. Called Flake’s bluff and called for the vote. He voted to send out of committee.
Now up to McConnell. If he has the votes, he goes ahead. If not, then we will see.
Grassly has indicated he has had over 20 investigators working on this. They are former FBI, ICE and other professionals. FBI already done 6 background checks on kavanaugh. I think this might be about a perjury trap now. Hoping FBI might find someone who said Kavanaugh was passed out drunk somewhere.
