They are not watching. They are in Character Assassination school. 99% of the American public will never do what Ford (and the rest) just did. No need to send any lessons their way. The more important goal in this hearing was to be fair for poltical apperances.

Actually, I hope you are correct and 60 years ago you would have been. However, many of us who have watched during past decades would regard such an assumption as naïve. Pertinent to this issue is the fact that Obama served two terms and Hillary immediately thereafter captured the popular vote.

That is a close call and you may have Republican information that supports such a view, but I do not.

I think we could have effectively discredited Ford while at the same time being fair; indeed, that we should have. The MSM couldn't wait to praise her as the new heroine of the progressives; we should expect her to serve as a role model.
