A close friend's grandson was a stand out center in high school and went to all kinds of camps to specialize as a long snapper.

He turned out to be a huge kid, 6'4" and 340 lbs. and got a scholarship to a division III school last year here in Michigan.

After countless headaches, he quit the team after last season citing that he wasn't going to risk CTE playing div. III football and instead was going to focus on school academics..........

My friend was heartbroken since he played semi-pro football back in the 50's but he understood completely.......It just ain't worth it now that more has been discovered about the injury...
