Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has verbally resigned to Chief of Staff John Kelly in anticipation of being fired by President Trump, according to a source with direct knowledge.
Per a second source with direct knowledge: Hes expecting to be fired, so plans to step down. Background: Rosenstein talked last year invoking the 25th Amendment and wearing a wire during Trump meetings, the N.Y. Times' Adam Goldman and Michael S. Schmidt reported last week. He denied both allegations.
Praying so!!
PING!
Wow. If true...you beat Drudge.
The cowardly backstabbing piece of sh!t deserves a good hanging.
To spend more time with his family before he goes to jail.
release the FISA stuff NOW!
On Fox Biz, now!
If true, fire Sessions immediately
If he’s resigning he’d lose any legal protection, if any, his job afforded him.
Could Rosenstein have done a deal and become a Rosenweasel for real...
Joe DiGenova for Assistant Attorney General.
Hope it’s true!
Reporting by Jonathan Swan. Ironic, since I was chastised earlier this morning for posting another article by him.
Wil be interesting to see the book he writes.
Clearly, Trump had the goods on him. THis guy was undermining the rule of law, the congress and the president.
AXIOS is a left wing propaganda site..................
Good, appoint Joe Digenova as assistant at DOJ and then revoke all of Mueller’s authority.
This would be a huge “favor” to President Trump from a guy who hates him.

I thought about this the other night, for some reason, when the coverage of his “jokes” started to wax. What if Rosenstein resigned? This is a double edged sword politically, and not necessarily the favor it looks like on first blush. Yes, it seems to disarm the sharpest criticism of Trump, that he’d be interfering or obstructing. So in that way it’s good. It mutes the laserlike focus of the media to some degree, but there is no way they wont still blame him. You know they will. Rosenstein still gets to claim he was forced out, and he now looks more sympathetic overall. It’s not that being fired doesn’t instantly invoke a mass chorus of sympathy from the media and the left, but now he gets to be portrayed as the noble martyr.
Why would he do that? Now the Democrats won’t have nothing to holler about - unless it is that poor Rod was bullied so by the big bad Orange man in the White House that he had no other choice.
Oh boo hoo!!!
Well, if the Swamp wanted this info to leak, they wouldn’t give it to Breitbart. :-)
bump!
Massive if factual.
So, who will be the next Rosenstein clone to be put in?
Unless Sessions gets removed, there will continue to be NO CONFIDENCE with ANY replacement.
