Yea and I am just SO GLAD that HELLARY is our POTUS now, I am so happy that these polling firms gave HELLARY a huge heads up so she could purchase that absolutely beautiful fireworks display her supporters enjoyed so much /s After the election of 2016 WHY would anyone with just half a brain pay attention to ANY POLL????
Coming from John Harwood, assume half that deficit is a hope and a prayer (not that I suspect Harwood ever prays).
It better not be true. If this is true, we are finished as a country. With judges stopping trump at every turn, we’re almost finished already. Losing the house would be horrible and the senate debilitating.
Well Pennsylvania hasn’t helped. They will get 5 pick ups just in that state. All they need is 18 more somewhere in the country.
I feel that loss of control of the House is a given, given history and NeverTrumpers in the GOPe.
The Senate too is unfortunately in play for the DemonRats. Their base is angry and motivated by TDS.
We do our selves a disservice by automatically dismissing unfavorable polls as junk or fake. The question is will the GOPe put up a fight to stay in power?

You can always point to people who are on their way out of the Republican Party. Christie Todd Whitman is going to follow Steve Schmidt, Colin Powell and the Eisenhowers out the door. Bill Kristol is going to hold the door for as many party-poopers as he can, while not actually going through it himself.
But I doubt Republicans in Congress want to lose. What a lot of them want is to get back to the private sector and make money. Chairmanships are term-limited, and Congressmen who've been chairs for years don't want to go back to being rank and file members, so they are opting out. Democrats are offering more moderate candidates in Republican seats that they think they can win, and some of them will win.
It would be a surprise if any Republicans in Congress are looking forward to turning power over to the Democrats with all the investigations and impeachment proceedings that a transfer of power would involve.
This should motivate everyone to get out and VOTE!
Don’t let the Dems take over. They would try to impeach president Trump and stop his agenda.
We absolutely need a Republican majority in Congress.
