His lawyer, from what I’ve heard, is an expert in defamation. So I wouldn’t be too sure he has too much class. Of course, I disagree with your idea that suing someone for their reputation is classless. Quite the opposite, I think. I hope Judge Kavanaugh destroys her.

As a public figure, Kavanaugh would have a very hard time winning a defamation case. But this article DOES explain one big reason why Ford cant testify. She will be asked about the OTHER people she named in her letter to Feinstein, and once she names them in sworn testimony on national television she will be exposed to lawsuits from THEM.

P.S. -- This is also the reason why Feinstein refuses to turn over the letter with the names unredacted.

And, I hope and pray with all of my heart, that Judge Kavanaugh has enough courage to go after this woman for the sake of every person who in the future, male or female, will false false allegations. Please God, do not fill Judge Kavanaugh with moral cowardice and justify it to himself as “class.” Judge Kavanaugh must for the sake of this nation, for the sake of every poor innocent soul languishing in prison, for the sake of every poor innocent soul listed on a sexual predator list crushed and beaten to the earth, go after this woman. This is a terrible headline. She wasn’t ordered to pay $8M because he claimed she injured him. That judgment came about because he was able to demonstrate his damages to a judge and a jury and demonstrate that her allegations were false and that they damaged her.

There was a judge and a jury and evidentiary proof inbetween the claim and her obviously malicious lies about him.

If Ford had her repressed memory recovered by a psychiatrist then I think, however this lie of hers comes out, that she will spend the rest of her miserable life spending frequent visits to another psychiatrist trying to justify to herself what she has done to a good, and innocent man and his reputation. Kavanaugh has gone thru this for a reason and the experience should make him an even better Supreme Court Justice.
