I haven’t been able to figure out if Kavenaugh boarded at Geogetown Prep or was he a day student?
My understanding is that Holton-Arms is a day school only. Not a boarding school.
He lived nearby. I would think it unusual if he boarded there.
But my guess is that his parents had provisions for where he was to go after school hours. Maybe with a relative or a priest?
