I do definitely detect a sense of gloating, anti-Catholic bias in the support statement signed by many Holton Arms alumni.
Most all boys Catholic schools have a sister all girls Catholic school. I understand that Georgetown Prep had one, and this is where Kavanaughs former girlfriends who have given press interviews attended.
It is possible that Kavanaugh didnt really fraternize with Holton Arms girls. The common denominator, though, seems to be the exclusive country clubs in suburban MD.
An interesting asideit looks like Kavanaugh was an only child, and that both of his parents worked. It would be nice to know what sort of adult supervision he was under during his high school years.
I haven’t been able to figure out if Kavenaugh boarded at Geogetown Prep or was he a day student?
My understanding is that Holton-Arms is a day school only. Not a boarding school.
The anti-Catholic bias was rampant at Holton Arms. Doesnt take much to sense the anti-Catholicism there.
But it seems the calculated Holton-Arms girls went after Catholic boys with a vengeance.....including Gonzaga and other Catholic boys' schools.
One yearbook entry has the Holton girls mentioning their male conquests with great pride:
No longer confining ourselves to the walls of Landon and Prep, we plunged into the waters of St John and Gonzaga with much success.
