The hard core, and threatened Deep State, democrats along with their media propaganda arm won't "see through" anything.
Having one too many honest Justices on the USSC is a threat to them because they know some of the crimes Trump has found while putting in the plumbing to drain the swamp could very well make it to the USSC before they're settled.
This appointment is life and death for them, not just something that they'd like to avoid until after the mid-term elections.

DyFy and the Democrats have refused to take part in any of the negotiations ever since DyFy started this crap. They'll play the plausible deniability card whenever they feel they are on the spot.
Grassley knows that Blasey-Ford doesn’t exist, or at minimum, the story is SO FAR from from the Democrats public narrative, that he has nothing to lose by being accommodating.
I personally believe Blasey-Ford is a completely fictional character. No one has seen her, no one has talked to her. We are given a canned photo and resume of her. She’s afraid to travel, afraid to talk in public.
She doesn’t exist. She’s a meme, not a person.
