Good grief! His tweets are an embarrassment. Put the content aside—the misspellings, grammar mistakes and lack of punctuation are NOT what you expect from a statesman.

“.....testify to the senate...” should be “testify BEFORE the Senate (capital “S”). He’s more like the illiterate Barbara Bush wanted to help.

Twitter limits the amount of characters used. It practically forces bad grammar in order to fit complete ideas into one post.

I am pretty sure that Twitter has maximum characters that can be typed in any single message. These shortcuts re normal, based upon other Twitter message I have seen.

I am pretty sure Grassley knows how to spell.
