I have read a couple of dozen books about Hamilton.

The best (not that you asked) are those by Forrest MacDonald (It is the best to explain the various financial programs); the Rise and Fall of Alexander Hamilton by Robert Hendrickson ((comprehensive); AH & American Foreign Policy; and AH & the Founding of the Nation among others.

I am such a Hamilton nut that I have 39 books about him and have read them all. I even spent 10 yrs writing a screenplay about him.

Trump is like Hamilton in that they both have infinite energy and are ardent Nationalists.

That is awesome! I really love reading American History and especially the Colonial period up to and including the Civil War—just find it fascinating.
I realize the massive difficulties in our History—the challenges and the incredible minds and personalities that shaped and formed the American experience.
Looking at the pea brain morons who now occupy most public offices just makes me so angry and disappointed. I feel we owe out ancestors better-—such a shame.
Appreciate the recommendations-—love researching and learning-—
