Grassley is playing this right. He is chairing a Senate committee, so his only public announcements should be the ones that relate specifically to the procedural matters at hand:
1. Is there going to be a hearing on Monday? 2. If so, will anyone make an appearance? 3. If note, will there be a committee vote scheduled?
