Under no circumstances should Kavanaugh testify about anything related to Betty Ford’s “allegation.”
Since Blasey-Ford has made no formal verbal allegation, he should just silently stand for a vote? Legally, that may be correct.
But what about the optics? How does he clean his skin after getting dragged into a week of their mud?
