Somebody needs to support Kavanaugh, his nominee. The Senate Dems have clearly taken sides saying they believe Ford. The GOP Senators have not offered any real support of Kavanaugh and no criticism of Ford. The result is that polls showing support for Kavanaugh are declining with the majority favoring that he not be confirmed.
Bending over backwards to be fair to Ford is backfiring and will hurt the Reps in the midterms. The GOP's lack of a spine adds to the public perception that Ford's claims are true. Her ludicrous list of demands should be denied. Grassley must assert his control of the committee.
