Most freepers post about quick punishment for the guilty even before they are indicted, tried and found guilty.
We are not a banana republic country, yet!
We need the due process.
I believe that people understand the legal process. Prosecuting someone precedes incarceration, and I don’t think there’s a FReeper that doesn’t understand that if there is an innocent verdict, the person will not be incarcerated.
I understand the dynamic you are addressing. I’m not trying to advocate for not giving due process to these people.
