Debra Katz, the attorney hired by Christine Blasey Ford to represent her and her claim that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh attacked her at a high school party three decades ago, is a longtime Democratic activist and donor. Katz has, in the past, defended men accused of sexual assault by multiple women, including former President Bill Clinton and disgraced former U.S. Senator Al Franken (D-MN).
And she is a part of the “resist” movement, the anti-President Donald Trump crowd. In an October 2017 interview posted on the National Women Law Center’s website, Katz was asked about sexual misconduct cases.
“Today, in your practice, have you noticed an increase in these kinds of cases or complaints? Why do you think that is?” Emily Martin, vice president for Education and Workplace Justice, asked Katz in 2017.
“Unfortunately, these kinds of cases do not go away. In times of economic uncertainty when people feel vulnerable on many levels, it is easy for them to blame other ‘outside’ groups, including women, African-Americans, and national origin minorities, for their lost opportunities,” Katz said. “Part of President Trump’s appeal is apparently that he reinforces those fears and resentments.”

Now, the real question is WHO is paying her hourly rate for this work?

When did DiFi get the letter? How was it delivered? Was it truly anonymous, or was the name on it, but the sender asked it not to be revealed?
When did DiFi meet with Kavanaugh in her office, in private?
When was the polygraph done, by whom, where, and what were the questions?
When was the letter sent to the FBI? Did that transfer include, or not include, the name?
When was the letter leaked to WaPo versus when WaPo reported it?
When did DiFi or her staff talk with WaPo?
When did the leak happen - before or after the FBI received it?
With Ms. Ford's close relationship with the CIA as campus/faculty sponsor for CIA interns, did she talk with the CIA about this? If so, when?
Since her family has long-term relationships with the CIA through her father and herself, was there any formal or informal contact with the CIA, if so, when?
What date did the revelation happen in 2012 regarding her therapy session?
When did Mitt Romney announce that, if elected, he would nominate Kavanaugh for the SCOTUS?
Was there any timeline alignment regarding Romney's initiative to nominate Kavanaugh and Ms. Ford's revelation to her mental health counselor?
Was there any activity or timeline alignment regarding Ms. Ford's memory of an incident in the 1980's and the nomination and hearing process for Gorsuch?
When did DiFi contact Grassley?
When were the meetings with DiFi's staff that led her to make the conscious effort to hold off revealing the letter three times (private meeting, public hearings, private hearings)?
At any time between receiving the letter (either anonymously or with the name but privately) and the time she sent the letter to the FBI, did DiFi have a bad head cold that negatively affected her mentation? (It's happened before folks!)
She can defend Frankenstein for sexual misconduct but she can’t defend his comedy.
