The woman who accused Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault back when they were in high school wants a law enforcement investigation of the incident before testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to her lawyer who appeared on CNN Tuesday night.
Kavanaugh is expected to testify Monday.
“Any talk of a hearing on Monday frankly is premature because she just came forward with these allegations 48 hours ago. And since that time, she has been dealing with hate mail, harassment, death threats. So she’s been spending her time trying to figure out how to put her life back together, how to protect herself and her family. And there hasn’t been an investigation and these are serious allegations,” Lisa Banks, Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyer, said.
“She’s not prepared to talk with them at a hearing on Monday,” she continued. “No investigation — any legitimate investigation is not going to happen between now and Monday."

Often in life we are forced to do the right thing without being certain of the outcome. Take the vote, Grassley, and let the political chips fall where they may.
Why did she go public if she isn’t ready?
Democrats when put on the court decide all issues based upon political orientation and not the constitution. They are assuring that Republicans will do the same.
She admitted she did not know who’s house, when and who else was there.
And never said how she knew his name.
She was paid.
First, find out who leaked Ford’s name against her initial request. Was it DiFi, FBI, or CIA?

Ford is a troubled woman. Being raped isn’t one of them.
That might be hard to determine.
DiFi is a material witness to the attempted political assassination of a pending SC justice - and he may lose his current job if this is not fought. She should not be allowed to sit idly by on the grassy knoll while Kavanaugh is taken away in a limo, fatally wounded. I’d like to see her squirm about how it was leaked, and maybe see her feign that she had a bad cold (again) which clouded her judgment.

It will be a lot more than his statement. The Rats will contine the circus and ask him about his sex life as a teenager, how much he drank, where he partied, who he slept with, etc. This will be an attempt to make new accusations and get every aspect of his early life on the record and then they will continue to attack, attack, attack. They also might have a surprise additional "witness" who would be some girl who is willing to step forward and talk about wild parties, etc. If Ford won't appear, I think it would be better to just proceed with the vote; JMHO of course.

It doesn't, and Mitch McConnell better step up tomorrow and take charge of this fiasco, because he's been AWOL up to now.
