The woman who accused Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault back when they were in high school wants a law enforcement investigation of the incident before testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to her lawyer who appeared on CNN Tuesday night.
Kavanaugh is expected to testify Monday.
Any talk of a hearing on Monday frankly is premature because she just came forward with these allegations 48 hours ago. And since that time, she has been dealing with hate mail, harassment, death threats. So shes been spending her time trying to figure out how to put her life back together, how to protect herself and her family. And there hasnt been an investigation and these are serious allegations, Lisa Banks, Christine Blasey Fords lawyer, said.
Shes not prepared to talk with them at a hearing on Monday, she continued. No investigation any legitimate investigation is not going to happen between now and Monday."

Wait...what? I though she first made these allegations during marriage counseling 6 years ago and DiFi got the letter 7 weeks or so ago...and even took a polygraph..."48 hours" is a stupid misdirection...
Yes. she lies.
I saw the Twitter statement.
Am not sure about it’s accuracy. It is credible that she might have.
Yep
Investigation of what?
People who decide to come forward with claims like this years later need to be directed straight to the local police where they claim the incident happened. ONLY if the person is convicted of a crime should anyone else be concerned. Our system is supposed to be based on innocent until proven guilty.
This is a political stunt and only a political stunt. If it really happened then it should have been reported at the time or at least within the statute of limitations.
This sort of trash politics needs to be shut down, given no attention.
Someone on Fox (Tucker, I think) said that Booker wrote in his memoir that he forced himself on a 15-year-old girl and tried to “take advantage” of her. Should he be a Senator?
