Sorry to be prejudiced and a male chauvinist. I will never forgive Sandra Day O’Connor for the deciding vote to promote affirmative action. She supposedly was getting spiteful revenge for a long past slight when sexism hurt her in her early career. Now we men all have to pay reparations for her early life. Phooey.

When women are qualified they deserve and get the jobs and promotions.

Merit used to be the standard before Aff.Action.
Discrimination against males was allowed by the Court-—a shockingly wrong thing.

Putting a woman on the Court just for political strategy reasons is both insulting to women and won’t mean hearty pats on the back all around any more than Clarence Thomas being black brought them-—he was called an Uncle Tom turncoat by Dems. Off the Dem reservation so ostracized.

Putting Amy Coney Barrett on the court would not be insulting to women. She is a solid conservative and a fine judge. That said, I think Trump should nominate whomever he pleases for the SCOTUS. Man or woman, I have confidence he will pick the best person for the job.
