And do not forget that senators know powerful and skilled people other than those they employ.
It would have taken her maybe a day at the most to determine Ford’s credibility.
But the facts are that the senator’s character/ethics are no better than Ford’s. She does not want to know what Ford’s credibility and motives are.
Members of Congress may have large staffs, and nearly unlimited budgets but I think most of them are lazy(except for raising reelection cash)and probably drunk and/or high most of the time, including all those on Alzheimer’s meds.
