Feinstein screwed the Democrats here by sitting on the letter for 2-3 months, because she already had an opportunity — even a RESPONSIBILITY — to address the matter when she was questioning Kavanaugh directly in his confirmation hearing.

At this point, with all the haranguing the media has done on this topic, the public won’t allow this to NOT be open & visible in open televised (if possible) session of the committee.
At this point, the Dems have painted themselves into a corner. Now is the time to ‘fish or cut bait’, and I think the Dems will be severely damaged by this whole stunt.
