Feinstein: FBI Should Investigate Kavanaugh Allegation Before Senate Moves Forward on Confirmation

Feinstein has a new statement out this afternoon saying the Senate should not take action on confirming Kavanaugh until the FBI investigates:

It has always been Mrs. Ford’s decision whether to come forward publicly. For any woman, sharing an experience involving sexual assault––particularly when it involves a politically connected man with influence, authority and power––is extraordinarily difficult.

From the outset, I have believed these allegations were extremely serious and bear heavily on Judge Kavanaugh’s character. However, as we have seen over the past few days, they also come at a price for the victim. I hope the attacks and shaming of her will stop and this will be treated with the seriousness it deserves.

I support Mrs. Ford’s decision to share her story, and now that she has, it is in the hands of the FBI to conduct an investigation. This should happen before the Senate moves forward on this nominee.

It took 4 paid off accusers to take Moore down. How many “paid off”. women will it take to bring down Kavanaugh? Tell us. We would like to know.

I don't expect any more women are going to come out of the woodworks to make allegations against Kavanaugh. In fact, I 'd bet that this woman's story falls apart next week once people start scrutinizing it.

As far as Roy Moore goes, the yearbook story was clearly bulls**t but the first woman who came forward, I'm not so sure about.

But I don't care about Roy Moore. It was his interview with Hannity that doomed his campaign.

Unless someone comes forward with actual EVIDENCE that Brett Kavanaugh raped girls in high school (which is basically what he is being accused of), Kavanaugh will get through this.

Didn’t the FBI all ready say that they would not investigate this?

That about sums it up, and we know the reason is that many people in our “party” do the same damn things DiFi is doing. It would be mutual destruction if they investigated her.

Just what is there to “investigate” 35 years later? No physical evidence, no witnesses except for he said/she said. Lie detector testing is quite easy to pass if you know what your doing and have practiced.

To “bear false witness” is a mortal sin for a reason.

What evidence did the first woman provide that makes you unsure
about?
Roy Moore’s bad interview with Hannity was not evidence of anything
other than a bad interview.

It took ‘em twenty years to figure out that Feinstein’s personal driver was a Chinese spy. It’ll take ‘em twenty minutes to get an FBI team to dig into Kavannaugh’s past based on Feinstein’s oh-yeah-I-almost-forgot heresay letter.

No, agree to hold the vote on the 20th and then the full Senate on the 24th, stipulate that a Special Counsel will be appointed to investigate the allegation and only if it is proven beyond a reasonable doubt in a trial then the Republicans agree that Kavanaugh will be impeached with guaranteed conviction votes. The Supreme Court needs the 9th justice by 1 Oct. Investigate all you want after he is seated.

How does she even know the high school kid was Bret Kavanaugh?

She made the whole thing up. It's a fabrication. A fiction. A piece of leftist agit-prop.

She was probably drunk.

Her husband is probably drunk. Frequently. It's not a very effective coping mechanism, but often is perceived as the only way ...
