The head of the Organization of American States joined President Trump in holding out the threat of a military intervention there to restore democracy and ease the countrys humanitarian crisis.
OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro delivered the warning in a visit Friday to Colombias border with Venezuela. He also denounced Maduros socialist dictatorship for spurring a region-wide migration crisis.
With respect to a military intervention to overthrow Nicolas Maduros regime, I dont think any option should be ruled out, Almagro said.
Diplomatic actions should be the first priority but we shouldnt rule out any action, he added.

If DJT has a plan to shift manufacturing in China to Latin America in order to solidify trade pacts and isolate China, doubly so.
If it is ever proven China and Cuba colluded in an experimental microwave weapon against our diplomats, regime change strategy has to be on the table-- and it starts with economic and diplomatic isolation.

A friend of mine’s new wife recently emigrated from Venezuela.
She was a very successful businesswoman who read the tea leaves early and managed to get out a few years with most of her $$. OBTW she is absolutely delightful and a welcome and positive addition to the community.
