The chief executives of Nike and Columbia Sportswear, two of the biggest companies in the state, have each written personally to express their opposition to an initiative that would repeal Oregon's sanctuary state law.

Another great accomplishment of President Trump:
He has caused a record number of ultra-leftist idiots to out themselves.
What sensible CEO would choose to go political and alienate somewhere around 50% of their potential customer base?
Just who are these ne’er-do-wells who wear this stuff? I put it all in the “money down the toilet” category.
Truthful Nike statement.
Simple really: The more frequently our shoes are stolen, the more shoes people have to buy to replace them, for that to work we need more criminals, to get more criminals we need sanctuary cities. Simple really.
WOW! There’s actually an initiate to end sanctuary law in Oregon?
Is Nike still using child sweatshop labor abroad?
BTW. How many illegals buy Nike anyway?
I have a pair of Sorel boots I bought in 1971 that are a bit worn in the liner.
I bought a new pair a few years ago the Columbia acquisition - the soles separated after a few months.
Still using the old ones in heavy snow.
Don’t buy their sh*T. MAGA.
Dumb asses think they are the only game in town that produces tennis shoes or outdoor wear. Wonder how long it will take before CEO’s get canned.
I just hope Fruit of the Loom keeps their mouth shut or Ill be without underwear too!
And so the list grows.
Who did I forget?
Neither Nike nor Columbia will see my money or enjoy my patronage.
“Whos left? LL Bean?? Anyone?”
Carhartt.
I bought my Sorel winter boots about 25 years ago. They are still going strong. Best winter boots I ever owned.
Nike tells the illegals who are trafficking in children and dealing narcotics... Just do it.
Also, I assume that Nike will no longer be requiring any ID for entry into their corporate headquarters since identifying people entering the entire country is apparently against their corporate identity.
Or buy it "used" on Ebay and put a little money in the pocket of a small business owner, SAHM or pensioner. It is amazing the stuff I acquire. New, sitting in a box in someone's closet for 25 years. Sure Ebay (they all probably suck too) gets a cut but the majority of the sale goes to the seller.
1000% better quality than anything made in the past 10-15 years.
Take a hike-y, Nike.
Goodbye, Columbia.
And now Columbia, darn.
kinda late for a reply but I have a bud who runs an Ebay seller account and specializes in camping stuff.
He “used” to sell Columbia products. The last straw came last November when he received fleece jackets w/o price tags. Fine. He’ll sell NWOT (new without tags). He then asks the Columbia sales guy, if these are for men, why is the zipper on left (women)? The Columbia guy says “we want our products to be non-gender” (I kid you not).
The next day, he doubles the orders for NorthFace and Trek.
