Well, then begins Civil War II. And it won’t last that long once the sanctuary cities are conquered.

I cannot describe to you how far away we are from a hot Civil War II. You're not going to see it in your lifetime, or most likely your children's.

The only factors that could prompt it, and I'm not 100% sure either would, could be:

1) Door to door firearm confiscation, and the chances of this happening is less than 5% in my estimation, and then if it did, I only give it a 50% chance of going hot.

2) Cessation of entitlement payments other than Social Security. This would cause an armed uprising of a different demographic. This would be the largest chance of an armed Civil War II, and, if the payments were to stop, I'd give this a 50% of going hot.

Organization of an armed uprising, in a world where 3% or less engage, and are spread out in communities where there are no local leaders, and that organization communicates and organizes using centralized media is much more difficult than during the revolutionary or Civil wars of the past.

It would begin in sanctuaruy cities, citizens against gangs. The rest of the country would travel to help.

It would not involve armies as in CWII, but a continuing series of citizen action that would make it clear that they will not allow law enforcement to be overwhelmed. The Blue state governors would be reluctant to activate the national guard, but eventually they would. Thats when the test would come on whether it would expand, whether the national guard uints would side with The People.They might split.

But this era would not see the massive armies of CWI. CWII would be insurgency, guerilla warfare in sanctuary cities which refuse federal law enforcement.
