TXSearcher, when it comes to the various committees, I find it much more refreshing to simply follow along with what is being put up on the FR. Much better control over my blood pressure, as well.Well, I wanted to watch the hearings, when Kavanaugh gets to actually respond, because I want to know what his views are. But if it continues in the same vein as today, I would probably have to take a handful of antacids and down more than a few stiff drinks before turning on the TV in the morning.
I'm thinking you are correct that FR may be the safest option for me, because I doubt even those aids would get me through this circus without stroking out. LOL

I think these long winded self-serving speeches is a big waste of time and a witch hunt.
Ask questions and let the poor guy answer.
These Dems are quick to make judgments without hearing him out.

LOLOL Just remember to hide your car keys if you need to before you turn on the TV and open up any Adult Beverages. LOL

"...because I want to know what his views are."
This isn't a court case; this is a hearing designed to determine Kavanaugh's qualifications.
I don't want to hear his views on anything.
All I want is simple:
"yes, no, with all due respect Senator (Insert name) this isn't a court case so every (Insert cultural/political subject), I don't know unless the evidence can be presented, I ruled based on the evidence in relation to the Constitution which I respect, my opinions are in relation to Constitutional law, I respect stare decisis (Doesn't mean you adhere to the concept...".
